Isn't it amazing? Completely different form of fanart than I do - I could NEVER draw like that! But I always love when people share their drawings online and the idea to actually film the process and put that online is pretty cool! I thought it was so interesting how she started on one spot (his chin) and kinda went from there... I wasn't able to find the exact picture she used, but I found one pretty close. She really did an excellent job!

Awesome drawing and great photo. I'm also impressed that the artist started at one corner and get from there the the rest.
That was incredible!!! What amazed me is that she never used her eraser!!! People who can draw just blow me away.
What you said, Jojo!
Someone on LJ forwarded the link to him. I hope Matthew gets to see it.
I've never ever seen anyone start a drawing at that point for a portrait...completely unorthodox and difficult because all of the dimensions are referenced in the mind only. Truly amazing. I have been artistic as far back as I can remember...my drawing skills aren't even close to this. When I was in high school I had Art Class and the teacher had us go outside to draw any item from 'nature'. A girl in my class, who happened to be from my neighborhood and a couple of grades ahead of me, chose a maple leaf to draw. When I saw her drawing of the leaf I almost cried it was so realistic...all the veins and shading she used was unbelievable. Great post, Hannah!
You know, I can draw decently, not excellent, but if I aim for a dog, you'll know it's a dog...
However, her technique amazed me... wouldn't you start with the eyes?
